Status

On blocks, awaiting paint removal, leveling, and basement cleanup.

Specifications

Not known with certainty, some estimations follow:

• Heavy - 800 pounds (350kg).
• Steel surface, epoxy/metal honeycomb base.
• Can be leveled to 15nm or so.
• Rigidity sufficient for safe mechanical use.
• Pneumatic mounting.
• Tapped holes.

Associated Equipment

Lens and mirror mounts, wide variety of optical elements, micro-manipulators, high voltage (6kW) power supplies, and lasers are available.

Safety

High voltage power supplies and laser are dangerous, with a lot of subtle "gotchas". Don't play with them unless highly experienced.
