Equipment

Power Tools

  • Circular saw
  • Soldering Irons
  • 3/8" VSR Drill (in good working order plzkthx!)
  • Shop-Vac accessories
  • Dust-collector type equipment for woodworking
  • Step drillbits (Unibit style, but not that expensive! The Harbor Freight knockoffs are actually quite good, and a set of 3 for $15 is awesome.)
  • Heat gun (I brought one in. -- Elliot.)

Hand Tools

  • Screwdrivers
  • Hammers / mallets
  • Pliers, crimpers, scissors
  • Saw
  • Chisels
  • Rasp
  • Clamps
  • Nibbler
  • Pana-Vise (These show up on eBay all the time! The 376 and 315 heads would be most useful, but any Panavise equipment is good to have around. If you bid on an eBay auction, edit this page and note your eBay ID here so others know not to bid against you!)

Test Equipment

Note: Test equipment that pushes data via USB or Serial to a computer is preferred.

  • Spectrum Analyzer
  • Oscilloscope

  • Any tall shelving, approx 24-36"Wx18"Dx72"H. Taller is fine. Target has wire shelving, 5 tiers, 36x18x72, for $30 but they're out of stock.
  • Plastic bins, boxes, trays, the sturdier the better. Clear?
  • Dry-erase board (we might build this ourselves)
  • Pull-down movie screen (as above)
